"How to describe something that seemed to have neither borders nor an end?"
This citation well defines what happens to feel any time we travel across Italy and discover cultures that differ from village to village and have links with ancient traditions, all one of a kind. Many years ago , in a day of November, that the destiny put in the Estate di San Martino, the Indian Summer, the period in which grapes harvested start to ferment, the first stage of trasformation into wine, Mario met a traveling guy who produced wine and from this meeting was born the idea of a trip to understand all different cultures in Italy and its reflection on winemaking.
Mankind is since long characterized by the need of discovering new things, and "cross the border"; sometimes that brings to a "harbour", even if only temporary.
This happened to Mario, too. He reminds us how in wine we'll always discover a new bottle that suprise us.
